Day 1: What Might Have Been

Welcome back to November’s Healthy Mind Power Week: Today is Day 1! 7 days of short inspirational reads to get your day (and month) off to a great start! Today let’s talk about procrastination and what might have been.

It is easy to choose the familiar road, to continue along as usual without choosing to take the harder road despite what it may lead to. We put things off, giving the excuse of time, money, I’ll begin tomorrow. However, on the final day of your life when you look back along the journey that was your life, will you wonder, what might have been if?

Today I challenge you to begin something you have been putting off. Take that career plan and action it to achieve your goals, call that family member you have spent so long not speaking to that you have forgotten why, say sorry first to your loved one, take that job overseas, go on that date.

The Challenge

Today, do not procrastinate, take life by the reins and say YES to your best life! However, do not waste time worrying about the time that has already passed, and what might have been different today. Begin this month with a fresh mindset of no regret and to always make the decision, so that you will never need to question, what might have been?
