Healthy Mind Week Day 7: Every Day Matters

Welcome back to November’s Healthy Mind Power Week: Today is Day 7! 7 days of short inspirational reads to get your day (and month) off to a great start!

This is one of my favourite quotes, it is a blunt reminder that today is as important as any goal we are striving for, any trip we are planning, it’s more important than all of our wants, because today is our life. Tomorrow becomes today, yesterday was a today only hours ago. 

It’s easy to put things off, to sit on the couch and watch Netflix. To say, I’ll do it tomorrow. However, in old age, when you look back on your life, what do you want to see? Adventures, or Netflix and the mundane?

Today, I challenge you to stop waiting for tomorrow and to fully realize that today is all that matters, make sure you’re spending your day how you want to spend your life. Be present and don’t let life happen to you, make it happen how you want. Life is happening right now, make it count. Choose happiness, choose joy, choose love, choose adventure.
